Hurry up, this is the commemorative concert of the Monstronomic War!
You are the Monstronome, with your Magic Baton and the Metronomicon, you'll have to harmonize Instrumonsters with some technical gestures.
Act as a conductor and manage your Instrumonsters in order to do a great concert!
What is Monstronome?
Monstronome is a musical management VR game where the player embodies a conductor during a concert. The concept is to translate the experience of a conductor in a playful and quirky way to make it more accessible to musical novices.
This game is a first year student project from the Cnam-Enjmin Master's Degree. It was made in 3 months in full remote during the first Covid-19 lockdown (March to June 2020).
The full Monstronome experience provides three game modes:
- Rehearsal: the Tutorial of the game, the first option displayed to the Player to understand inputs and gameplay.
- Ceremony: the great annual concert, this is the classic Play Mode which offers a complete experience of Monstronome.
- Metronomadness: the Free Play Mode, this extends the classic experience of Monstronome by allowing the Player to adjust the orchestra as they want, with more flexibility and customization than the Ceremony Mode.
